HOW DO I LOVE THEE?

A HISTORY OF LOVE & MARRIAGE IN ECARDS

COURTSHIP—Where everything is beautiful:

You have to put some effort
into making the marriage work:

Sometimes, though you come to a realization:

And then this happens:

But if you think about WHY you
married each other in the first place

You CAN have a long & happy life together!

We’ve already done this:

But at my age this is downright scary:

This is one of the cards I gave Bud
on our last anniversary:

I have absolutely no idea why this old joke popped into my mind:

“Do you know why Jewish men die before their wives?
  Because they WANT to!”

We’ve made it 114 years (57 each) so far & we’re still counting----fishducky

  2. Where do you find this funny stuff, those cards are hilarious. They're all so great, I can't pick a favorite, thought the one you gave Bud is way up there. We've made it 54 yrs. together, still a bit to go to 114. :)

  3. I love these cards. They always make me laugh.
For those of you missing Mrs Fishducky her internet and phone lines are down and have been for a few days. Then she is going to Hawaii for a bit. She said she should be back soon.. Hopefully before she leaves me behind and has a blast without me. I may have to fire that woman.:)

  4. I love the one that says that marriage legally allows you to annoy one another for the rest of your lives. Great fun, all of them.

  6. When I die, I want to be cremated and thrown into the ocean preferably off the side of a boat. When telling my sister this, she turned to Tony and said, "So before you throw her off the side of the boat, you're gonna make sure she's dead first, right?"

  7. Dear Rita, I so wish that I could be as witty and clever as the people who wrote those cards! Peace.

  8. Dear everyone--A tree through which our Time Warner connection was passing decided to eat the connection on Friday afternoon. We lost our telephone, TV & internet until it was repaired 5 minutes ago. I have so much to go through & get ready for our trip the day after tomorrow, I won't be able to answer your comments--but I DO thank you for them. We'll be back the end of the month.

  12. Wow, that's some list! And you have my total admiration for such enduring love.
I was married for 14 years. Then I found out my wife had the nerve to be cheating on her boyfriend..
All the best to the both of you.
