AREN'T AMERICANS AS CLEVER AS EUROPEANS?

I like to think we are, but take a look at these European shopping bags:

Greenpeace:

ASPE crime stories:

Panadol (pain medication):

Fitness store:

Women's clothing:

Beer:

VW Golf:

Wheaties:

Stop animal torture:

Red Cross:

Stop nail biting:

Vitamins:

Yulia Tymoshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine,
iconic in Europe for her braids.
Fitness store:

Erotica store:

Lingerie store:

Reach out to children with autism:

Headhunter agency:

A big tea bag:

P Magazine/Life through a burka:

 Samsung:

Book store:

Unplug to save:

Magic store (This one has a clear plastic handle):

Men's clothing:

Watch this extremely clever act from the UK:

I think those bags could count as cartoons,
but maybe a few more:

I'm reminded of the early Midas Mufflers radio commercial.  There was the sound of a huge crash & then a guy's voice saying, "Want me to put it in a sack for you, lady?"----fishducky

  1. The shopping bags are awesome. Some of them I would keep forever. I do feel more than a little sorry for the ventriloquists victim though...

    1. I love ventriloquists!! Have you ever seen Jeff Dunham? The Walter Award (top right of this page) is one of his characters.

  2. Those are priceless and so creative. I would love to have several of them. Some for a cool message and some for shock value.

  3. Very interesting post. The nail biting ones gave me a pang in the stomach.

In Canada people save bags from Eaton and Bays and carry them around even if they are not shopping so people think of them as having class.

  5. I'd love to have some of those bags! I do my grocery shopping twice a week with a huge backpack and two boring canvas bags...those would give some great second looks for all the cars driving back on the long walk home! I also love that ventriloquist! I remember seeing that when it was on TV over here and dying of laughter!

  8. Those are very creative bags, I always take my own bags when I shop now, they are a bit boring I could use some really smart one like these, only in plastic so I could reuse them they last for months.

    1. We have several canvas bags that we use, & they last forever, but they don't have the personality of these!!

  13. You do come up with the funniest things, I laughed quite a lot here. I like several of those bags enough to want them, but I'm 100% sure I could never walk down the street with a bag from the erotica shop.
