SOME ODD PLACES (& SEVERAL PLACES SEEN ODDLY)

This is a map of an area in Hemet, CA.
There is also an street near the dump in Placerville, CA
called Throwita Way

Following are maps by judgmentalmaps.com.
They do not necessarily reflect my views.

The first is my city, Los Angeles, CA.
The circled area is where I live:

And others across our great country:

I wouldn't want to leave out our friends across the pond:

  7. Sniggering over here. And wondering what a judgemental world map would look like. I suppose it would depend on who drew it up.

  8. I laughed when I saw what was in your circle. If The Hurricane should happen to get a job in L.A., I'm sending her to live with you.

  10. Dear Fran, I've never heard of "judgmental" maps. Are these from a site? Or from a book? I wonder what the author would do with Stillwater, Minnesota, which is a small town of 15,000 that is, to my way of thinking, one of the loveliest and nicest places in the Universe. I lived there for 36 years, so perhaps, I'm biased!!!! I hope all is going well for you as we come to the three great celebrations of the end of December: Hannukkah and Christmas and Kwanzaa. I've been going slow getting ready for the holidays, but I'm hoping to shift into a higher gear any day now! And I'm also hoping that you are taking care of yourself as this past year has been, I would imagine, difficult for you health-wise. Take care. Peace.

  12. Thankfully, you put up the disclaimer re: that's you'll be offending me shortly. I'm kinda bummed there isn't a MA map. :)
