MACHINES ARE TAKING OUR JOBS, BUT MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST LET THEM!!

Finding the right job is important and this German job hunting company (jobsintown.de) doesn’t want you to forget. In fact, they’ve created a memorable ad campaign that shows what it would look like if humans ran the machines we use every day.
Using the tagline, “Life’s too short for the wrong job,” the company targets people in places they’re likely to be during their commute. The ads show what it would look like if humans were operating the object the advertisement is placed on.
Most are funny but some are actually a bit sad:
A one-man engine. No appreciation!

It’s all fun and games until somebody has to make all those weird Pac-Man noises.

I don’t know; this lady kind of looks like she’s enjoying herself.
She is way calmer than everybody else, that’s for sure.

I thought laundry day was bad but this lady has it rough.

A terrifyingly small place to be a barista.

Frozen yogurt: good. Working inside of a tiny freezer: bad.

All genres. All artists. At the toss of a hat. (Well, coin.)

Please tell me this is not actually how the airport security machine works.

This isn't what I thought they meant when they said
I'd be handling money all day.

Smile!!

Shouldn’t he be wearing a mask?

  1. Love the Dilbert cartoon.
And the machines can have each and every one of those jobs.

  4. with so many jobs now being done by machines instead of the four or five people that used to be needed, I can see this happening. But how will businesses etc cope when eventually the robots and machines break down and there is not one human left who knows how to do the job or even how to fix the robots? Well be almost back at caveman times, starting over.

    1. Can't robots be self-repairing, or can't other robots be repairmen?

  5. Cracked up at the airport security machine but actually felt sorry for the robotic pet. Even they get abused.
