They say the camera never lies,

but it can kid you a little bit!!

Some artists spend their entire lifetime trying to come up with the perfect optical illusion, but every once in a while the world (paired with the power of a camera) gives us one for free. Here are some of the trickiest un-photoshopped photos you have ever seen, in fact if it weren’t for the disclaimer you might be really confused what you are looking at. I have to admit, even with the knowledge these photos from are all accidental optical illusions, I’m still a little perplexed about a few of them…

It might appear like this boat is about to float away into outer space, but look again, as carefully as you can. The shadow is actually next to the boat instead of beneath the boat.

Is this a Harry Potter character or a perfectly timed photo of a HUGE bird about to attack a deer?

They say the woman in pink can be a bit of a pervert, but no one thought she was going to take it this far…

They call her the horse woman for more reasons than one. Some can’t help but wonder if she sleeps in a barn or a bed…

A distant tree meets with the head of a doe, making what appears to be the grandest antlers in all of the forest…

“Oh come on and get that head out of your a$#!”

You don’t see a two-headed giraffe everyday, not even in a National Geographic magazine.

World’s biggest bug or world’s smallest helicopter?

You can’t even tell who is holding up whom in this photo.

Where does one cat begin and the other end?

It looks like someone is sneaking a feel of Kate’s lady parts…

These are from

This is a mirror, not a canvas.

This woman is wearing bikini bottoms.

This isn’t a sausage man.

This picture is actually G-rated.

So is this one.

This bartender isn’t wearing a skirt.

This is just…hard to figure out.

This cat isn’t actually transparent.

This guy is not wearing a wedding dress.

This is not someone holding up a photograph.

Which head belongs to which body?

Today only, instead of cartoons, I'm posting a riddle:

In Cape Cod, twin boys born early Sunday morning November 13, 2016 wound up trapped in a paradox because of that scourge of the space-time continuum: Daylight Savings Time. Emily and Seth Peterson of West Barnstable, MA welcomed their boys Samuel and Ronan after 1 AM on Sunday. Samuel was born first, but according to their birth certificates, Ronan is actually older. Rather than try to explain the logic and risk going mad myself, I'll let this viral Facebook post from Cape Cod Healthcare do it for me:

Samuel was born first, but his twin brother Ronan is older. How is that possible?

Scroll down for answer.

Samuel was born at 1:39 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 and by the time Ronan was born 31 minutes later, Daylight Savings Time had ended for the year and the time fell back by an hour, making Ronan’s official time of birth 1:10 a.m. Samuel and Ronan were born at Cape Cod Hospital to parents Emily and Seth Peterson of West Barnstable.
“I said earlier that night that they were either going to be born on two different days or the time change was going to come into play,” said Seth, who is a trooper with the Massachusetts State PoliceCape Cod Hospital Maternity nurse, Deb Totten, said it was the first time she has ever seen this happen in more than 40 years of nursing!!

I think senility is going to be a fairly smooth transition for me----fishducky

  1. Im going with Elephant child above to get a tylenol and a drink!

  2. Interesting visual puns. Thanks for the laughs.

  3. Some I could not figure out either.

    1. Probably the ones with the "misplaced" heads!!

  4. You strained both my brain and eyes. Thanks for the interesting exercise--I think.

  5. The two cats and the two girl's heads are kind of spooky when you first look. The huge bird and the deer are realistically scary. Thanks for sharing. Some are really funny.

  6. I could make sense of them all, except for the couple wrestling on the couch.

    1. I think he is sitting in front of her, legs down, and then she wrapped her legs around his waist.... maybe?

    2. Yes, and tucked her head through under his arm.

    3. Does that clear it up for you, Val?

  7. The sixth picture is the reason I no longer go to yoga. :) And funny... I knew the answer to your riddle, but mainly because I read it in our local paper when it happened.

    1. That does NOT look like a comfortable asana!!

  8. Those photos are so good! I love the one with the deer and tree antlers.

Your comments make my day, which shows you how boring my life has become.
