THE CHALK MAN IS BACK!!

Julian Beever (born c. 1959) is a British sidewalk chalk artist who has been creating trompe-l'œil chalk drawings on pavement surfaces since the mid-1990's.  He uses a projection technique called anamorphosis to create the illusion of three dimensions when viewed from the correct angle.  His work is all done on a flat surface

My Ducky Shirley sent me these pictures that he did:

These are by Tom Bob:

I don't know who did these but I like them:

This was the only street art cartoon I could find:

So the rest of these are "graffiti":

Does this count as street art?

Carol Wyer's newest book, "The Missing Girls", is, I believe, the best in this series so far.
There was no way I could have predicted the ending!!
It's available on Amazon for only 99 cents for a short while.

  2. Love the street art. It helped calm me a little. We have a street artist here in Adelaide but he hasn't been around for a while. He's really good.

  4. I love street art. I saw a Banksy a few years ago when I was in San Francisco. I was thrilled.

  5. The dimension on the street art is amazing, especially when viewed from a different angle like that Charlie Brown one which makes you realize it is really just a flat image. I would love to see one in person.

  7. Clever talented fun stuff. It is almost criminal that the chalk art will wash away.
