This is my 1,100th post!!

This was supposed to run on Monday, 11/13 but I'm not sure it did, so I'll try again!!

These amazing photos were sent to me by my Ducky, Elephant's Child.
She posts at myjustsostory.blogspot.com.
Thank you, Sue!!

Jet wash in the morning mist

Unusual cloud. Now we know how to look like angels

Ice cave, illuminated by a torch

 Ladybug in the morning dew

 Cloud: incredible picture

Rain over Ravninoi, view from an airplane

 A tsunami of clouds

A magical place in Austria, Grer See

A rare and wonderful atmospheric phenomenon, "fire rainbow".
This optical effect in the atmosphere is manifested in the appearance of a horizontal rainbow, localized on a background of light, high cirrus clouds.

Rainbow refraction of light in water droplets

Morskoi sand under a microscope with a 300% increase

Rhodochrosite - Beautiful Shii mineral, also known as the Rose of the Inca

The view from the height of 8000 meters (26,000 feet)

Splash from a stone thrown into the water at sunset

In rare cases, you can see a 360 degree rainbow from a plane

The crystal clear ice of Baikal

 Blooming lotus

Lavender fields. Dawn. Imagine the aroma

Frame-fire: the reflection of the setting sun in her hair

 Winter Fairyland

 "Yesterday Is History,
Tomorrow Is a Mystery,
but Today Is a Gift.”

  1. Those pictures are really fascinating, such vivid colors. Isn't it amazing what you can see formed in the clouds.

  2. The $10,000 is a truism :) I've spent a fortune through the years.

  3. "I just press the little doohickey"
    That describes my photography perfectly.
    LOVE the minion.

  4. Don't know how I missed this one. The tsunami of clouds was just a wee bit scary it looked so real. That winter fairyland makes me want to be there.

  5. Of course the ladybug was my favorite, with the weirdo photographer a distant second.

Your comments make my day, which shows you how boring my life has become.
