Across
town, another lady (Rosie) had a perfectly good son, but she prayed for a
daughter. She wanted a sweet, precious little
girl who would never give her a moment’s trouble. After a few years her fairy godmother
appeared before her & said, “We’ve only got one female child available. She’s not perfect but she’s attractive in her
own way. What do you think? Do you want her?” Rosie said, “Yes, please,” & she got
fishducky. Rosie’s husband looked at his
new daughter & sweetly asked his wife, “What in the hell is that?” but he grew
to love her. Rosie was thrilled & preened
her baby’s beautiful yellow feathers every day. Fishducky was a good baby but a very picky eater.
She learned to speak at a very early age, but people had difficulty understanding her.
She had many friends, but often she preferred to be alone.
Be
patient, people; I’m not sure where I’m going with this.
When
fishducky was in her teens, she met BBB.
They started dating & soon fell in love. BBB taught her to drive.
Many mothers feel that no girl is good enough for their son, but Audrey loved fishducky. They spent many nights at his folk’s house watching TV. Audrey would say, “You shouldn’t just sit around the house. Why don’t you go to a movie--go bowling--get married?” So they did.
She had some trouble holding a job,

She had some trouble holding a job,
She did do some modeling.
And designed a line of swimsuits for a while.
But BBB made a very nice living, so she could stay at home with the kids.
Aside from the occasional broken toes, fishducky has been pretty healthy.
And throughout her life she has maintained a positive attitude.
They
had three lovely children who all took after BBB. They had no feathers, but otherwise they were
quite presentable. Fishducky & BBB grew old together.
